Where sun meets tomorrow: BAU brings together international industry expertise in the planning, construction and design of buildings. Smart control systems for external venetian blinds, roller shutters and awnings are also indispensable here. At the WAREMA stand, you could experience the future of sun shading automation at first hand.

From 13.01.-17.01.2025, we presented exciting solutions for trend-setting topics such as serial renovation, modular construction or digitalisation in Hall C2 at Stand 338 and exchanged ideas with you about the future of construction.

The new Matter connection standard in particular is changing the smart home market for the long term. We are supporting this trend with the Xeenos product line. Because one thing is clear: Matter is here to stay.

Where sun meets tomorrow: Continuous innovation is crucial when it comes to achieving optimal sun light management. Which Smart Building Solutions from WAREMA await and what brand-new topics will we be discussing with you? Be sure not to miss any of the WAREMA trade fair highlights!

In response to growing demand, the launch of the Xeenos product line marks the first products for the new Matter standard by WAREMA in 2025. Matter is a future-oriented, certified Smart Home standard that guarantees seamless and reliable connectivity between devices from various manufacturers and trades. As a member of the alliance for the development of Matter, working in partnership with leading global electronics companies, WAREMA plans to launch solutions for the smart control of sun shading products with Matter in the year ahead.

Available from mid-2025, the WAREMA weather station for KNX bus systems records precise weather data for the smart automation of sun shading systems. As a result, we are able to offer a number of clever functions to improve energy efficiency, comfort and safety, including automated slat tracking, sun control and wind and precipitation monitoring. The wind speed is detected by innovative ultrasound sensors, while rain and snow are measured by optical sensors, eliminating the need for moving parts that are susceptible to wear and tear. The integrated GPS sensor precisely determines positions to accurately transmit the date and time to the control unit. Another highlight: the optional WAREMA Plug-in Protect overvoltage protection protects the on-site bus system against overvoltage and can be plugged in without any major installation work being required.

In the future, a range of myWAREMA functions will also be available to electricians. In the first phase, you will be given access to all the learning materials in the Sun Academy. You will also be able to book service commissions and return deliveries quickly and easily, download WAREMA marketing materials and logos and provide access for additional employees.

Modern sun shading meets a variety of requirements. It protects against heat and prying eyes, boosts energy efficiency, and helps users feel cosier and safer through intelligent control systems. Important decisions can be made early on in the planning phase – in a modernisation or renovation project or for a completely new building – to ensure the best possible light guidance and optimise building automation with intelligent bus systems. We regularly showcase our Smart Building Solutions to visitors from all over the world at the BAU trade fair in Munich.

BAU, the world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems is held every two years. Your can find out more on the official Munich trade fair website.

As a trusted partner for our sun shading system specialist partners, electrical planners and engineers, we value the opportunity BAU Munich gives us to discuss our smart sun shading control systems in detail. The intelligent control of sun shading products contributes significantly to energy efficiency in buildings and maximises user comfort.
